Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical thriller The Resident. She also received praise for her debut television performance on Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. She has appeared in 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently working on a movie adaptation of Elisabeth KublerRoss's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the team who wrote the movie Immortals. Also, she is filming for an upcoming television series known as Gods & Heroes.
